McGill Interview questions

Hello, 

I was just offered an interview by McGill. I know some people on here have gotten the interview before. Does anyone here know/remember the interview questions they were asked? The previous website had a bunch of information on it, but now its all gone.... Any help here would be appreciated.

Are you in the cégep category? I have a friend who did the interview last year I could ask. I believe it’s different for mature category though.

I am coming from Ontario, general category.

Where did you learn French?

What do you hope to do with your law degrees?

What was the last book you read in French?

 

Reminder that this is only a comprehension interview; you can respond in French or English (as of last year, at least). Good luck!

Non-CEGEP applicants may be selected for a French comprehension interview; otherwise, your application will be judged solely on the basis of your submitted materials (again, as of last year, and assuming that nothing significant has changed this year).

Just for the record, the deadline for Cégep applications is March 1, and the documents deadline for them is March 7. Cégep students don't apply until their 4th semester (which means no earlier than January). There will be no Cégep interviews until after their application deadline.

Est-ce qu’il y a des collégiens qui ont reçu leur offre d’entrevue à McGill? Mon entrevue est cette semaine! Est-ce que vous avez des conseils / à quoi ressemble les questions ?

yes, i did! I received my invite march 29, and my interview is today :)
