How do I know when all my files have been uploaded?

You can check on your applicant portal, but it might take several weeks for statuses to be updated. It took somewhere between 5 to 6 weeks for them to mark my files as uploaded.

what if there are issues with the application after the deadline?

Hm, I'm not completely sure as I submitted back in November. I know they say that as long as you had everything sent before the deadline, it's okay if the uploaded date is past the deadline. Best to contact them about any concerns - they are very helpful over email!
