Transfer Students QU to Toronto School

Hello everyone,

I was hoping to connect with a student who has transfered to UofT or Osgoode preferably from Queens, but anyone who has experience with transfering to these schools - I would love to know how you have found the process? What was your class standing and did things other than marks matter. Thank you!

Are you doing this for personal reasons or because you think it will help your career prospects? I've noticed that transferring doesn't help with job prospects because employers would only have your 1L transcript from Queen's when doing OCIs. I know a number of people that transferred to U of T and it doesn't seem like it helped their career prospects as most of them did not get big law jobs in the 2L recruit.

It's better to be a big fish in a small pond than it is be a small fish in a big pond.
