Just received my formal rejection on the launchpad portal.

L2: 3.4 (self-calculated)
LSAT: 160 (one-take)

Rejected today. L2: 3.5, LSAT: 156. Lots of work experience. Applied mature elsewhere but that wasn’t an option at U of A. Holistic did not help me, lol.

Rejection gang!

GPA: 2.42 (on LSAC, IDK what my L2 is but not much better)

LSAT: 175

was hoping to get into one of the Alberta schools since im from BC but alas they hit me with the double rejection (I deserve it)

2.75 L20 GPA, 169 LSAT.

Mature Student, Law adjacent work experience.

Last school I was waiting for! 

 All Rs so I guess law school is not for me. 😞

That’s not true at all! I’m a mature applicant and waiting on one more rejection(my lsat killed my chances). But it just means it’s not my year. I waited 17 years, what’s one more!!! Take a few undergrad courses and boost your gpa and try again next cycle. Don’t give up! It’s just not our year.

Apply to oz next year - they take splitters in their holistic round I have seen similar stats. Chin up ❤️.

So sorry to hear that @ReticentSnacker. Brutal. But it's much better to have tried and failed, than to have never have tried at all. It's no cliche, it's the truth. You can look in the mirror and be very proud of yourself.  🙂

Also rejected today

L2: 3.7

LSAT: 159

UAlberta was my first choice but still holding out hope for USask! Best of luck to everyone on the waitlist!

You wrote your LSAT was a 162 in the queens thread, a 3.9 and a 162 seems high to get rejected

Yeah, Queens accepts the Feb LSAT, UofA does not. 158 (Jan), 162 (Feb).

Thats bonkers. I was a january admit in 2019 with 3.9, 156.

this makes me hate you slightly haha that rejection is wild though I have almost the same as you and I got waitlisted 4.0/160
