How does Co-op credit being count?

Hello everyone,

 

I am currently enrolling in a Commerce Co-op program in the East Coast, and my school only give Pass/Fail for our Co-op term. I have completed 3 terms so far, and I am wondering if the Co-op credit are being considered a regular credit by UBC?

I contacted UBC regarding this issue and they replied saying they are counted, as long as your institution also counts them as credits on your transcript
