Does anyone know the average salary for articling students in Halifax? (big firms)

I cannot find this information on any of the "big firm" sites - they just say "competitive with other local firms". I'm trying to do a cross comparison with other Atlantic firms. 

I would rather not contact student committees with this question - any Dal students know this? 

Even a ballpark range would be helpful.

Salary for articling in Halifax is not great. I'd guess like $45-50k? Potentially less. It was less when I articled in Halifax, but that was years ago.

late on this but just to update for reference later, I think it's about 60-65k now. I only say that because when I got my line of credit the credit card you receive is based on the estimated income for articling and they said they haven't seen an articling position less than that these days (probably only for big firms but still).
