LSAT: 160 (highest of three)

Just got waitlisted. 

L2 3.725/160/Out of Province 

Also have MSc.

I was waitlisted today, checked the portal, still no email.

GPA 3.9 (according to UCalgary's conversion)

LSAT 156 (2nd attempt)

Previous ABA accredited Law School experience. 1.5 semesters (in the US) with a 3.86 GPA, number 1 out of 209 students, Dean's List, TA position offered for my 2L year, full ride scholarship for 3 years, etc. We had to move home for personal family reasons last year and I withdrew after liaising with U of C and finding out they wouldnt accept any credits or transfer me (reason for leaving well explained in my application).

10 years professional work experience

Lots of Volunteering: Non-profit boards, lots of community volunteering with kids in sport and company events. 

I'm sort of in shock and really disappointed... I did really well in law school and loved it so much that I'm crazy enough to start my 1L again knowing what's in store 😉

Accepted to U of A February 23 and have accepted the offer.

I was waitlisted in March and asked if I wanted to stay on the list in April… haven’t heard back since. At this point, is it likely to get off the waitlist?

I'm in the same boat. Starting to give up hope now. It was the only school I applied to and I put everything into the one application, but I guess it's not happening. I'm fairly old so I don't think I'll even apply again. Maybe law school just isn't meant for someone like me.
