Student tracker number?

Is being assigned a UBC tracking number is significant? I’ve seen a few people say that if you did not go to UBC as an undergrad being assigned a tracking number usually means you will be accepted in the next few days. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Historically it changes 25-48 hours before an acceptance. I have just received a status date change, but I already had a student number as I did my undergrad at UBC! Keep us posted and goodluck!!

Do you mean "School Tracking Number"? Becuase I just got that too, which I think wasn't there before, and I see a status date change. Hopefully, this is good news?

How do you know that you have been assigned one? Do you receive an email?

If you are not a former UBC student, and login to the website that you applied on (you would have been e-mailed a password for it), you can see a tracking number (if it has been assigned).
