Question regarding acceptance before July 1st

My portal still shows "Application pending". Currently, I provisionally accepted Ottawa's offer, anyone knows if I did not hear back from Queens before July 1st, does that mean I will never get a decision? Since my provisional acceptance will become firm, thus I will be removed from consideration of Queens.

Not necessarily – there are likely Queens offers out to people who will be rejecting last minute, so likely more spots will be sent out in July. I recall a surprising number of acceptances going out last July!

I think Rigel is referring to the July 1st deadline, where provisional acceptances become firm and you’re no longer considered at other schools

Oh duh I see now! Yes totally, if you keep your provisional acceptance to Ottawa and it becomes firm on the 1st, that means you will automatically no longer be considered at Queens unfortunately, even if there’s more offers going out in July.
