Associate Salaries for Regional/Mid-Sized Firms in Calgary

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on salaries regional/mid-sized firms pay their corporate Associates? Not concerned about first year Associate salary, but more so for 2nd, 3rd and onward. For reference I was thinking about firms like McLeod Law, Walsh LLP, Carbert Waite, Carscallen etc.

I have a friend who is a first-year call at one of the mid-sized firms in Calgary and her salary is $90K. She doesn’t have any idea what 2nd year and onward would make and of course isn’t comfortable asking the other Associates at her firm how much they make. Does anyone on this forum have any knowledge as to what 2nd year calls and onward would be making at mid-sized firms in Calgary?
