Received the offer today at 7:08 and submitted app last week. Will most likely be declining offer.

So happy and honored to have been accepted as uofc was my first choice! Received the offer on Wednesday, Dec 13th and I accepted + paid deposit today.  Second time applicant. Applied General.

So happy to start this thread!

Accepted today.

4.27/4.30 GPA (Not sure how UofC converted it into its scale)

165 LSAT

Mature student. Small business owner with 10+ years of working experience in the hospitality industry. Minimal volunteering experience.

Got rejected last year so I am super happy I got in so early this year. Will be accepting as Calgary is my hometown.

I also thought the applications weren't being assessed until Dec 1, but I just got my acceptance.

166 LSAT

3.5 L20, 3.5 CGPA

Work experience in O&G, Aviation, and the military.

You are giving me hope. I got a 3.64 L20 and like a 2.xx CGPA. Wrote my lsat on Friday, don't think it went as good, but I'm thinking 165 at minimu.

Just got my acceptance letter on Friday the 17th. 

164 LSAT

4.0/4.0 GPA

25 years old

Background is that i was an aspiring med student, decided it wasnt for me and have been in condominium management for the last year

4 years work experience as a legal assistant, which I did while getting my degree at night. 

Will be accepting as it's my first choice.

Received Offer Letter today!

168 LSAT

3.63 (Per UCalgary scale)

Out of province

2 years work experience as an accountant, a variety of side projects, and fluency in French (including this last one because I specifically mentioned their French certificate in my personal essay).

Likely to decline but it depends on how others turn out.

Applied Nov. 25th and recieved offer notification today, Nov. 28th.

cGPA: 3.14 | L2: 3.45 | LSAT: 177

Graduated Bachelor of Nursing this June at UofC.

Worked throughout undergrad; server, recreation manager, healthcare aide, undergraduate nurse employee, to now registered nurse. 

EC: distress centre, building resilience with children and families, rock climbing. 

Excited about this acceptance!

Just got accepted.

My application went through on Nov 28 and I heard this afternoon. 

cGPA: 3.7/ B2: 3.9/ LSAT: 168

English Lit major. Founded a not- for- profit based on personal experiences with going through the justice system. Softs are otherwise weak.

So excited to hear back this quickly.

Just got accepted today! I got notified by email. 

Applied December 1st. 

cGPA 3.92/4.33 (OLSAS 3.75/4)
LSAT: 167

Engineering Major with a MASc also in Engineering. 

Softs: Entrepreneurship and Leadership

Accepted last night via email notifying me of an update to my Student Centre.

OLSAS 3.8 GPA, 161 LSAT, good softs.

UofC was the only school I applied to last cycle during my last semester of undergrad and I felt so lost and directionless after getting rejected. I decided to take the year to work, retake the LSAT, and beef up my application and I'm so grateful for it and the opportunity to take it slow for the first time.

To anyone frantically refreshing the law school admissions Reddit and the Law Forum as I have been, I hope you get your answer soon. A disappointing result might end up serving you best in the long run.

Accepted on Dec 11 via email letting me know there was an update to my Student Centre. 

 

OLSAS 3.4 GPA, (3.62 for UofC since they take into account graduate courses),

166 LSAT

 

Physics major with some gradute courses in applied mathematics and computer science.

 

3 years full-time work experience, good references and normal softs. Calgary and UOttawa are my top choices so really excited!

Accepted on December 14th. 4.0 L2 GPA, 165 LSAT. Mature student with 10+ years of work experience and strong personal write ups (I think).

 

Transcripts were in well ahead of December 1. LSAT took a week to be entered by admissions after being requested - was entered two days before acceptance. Pretty quick turnaround but felt like forever of course. Best of luck everyone!

I uploaded an unofficial transcript and submitted my application Nov 30, they've requested my official transcript now that I'm accepted 😄 fingers crossed for you!
