Ontario Bar Exam Prep Course?

I'm wondering if anyone has taken a bar prep course for the Ontario exams? If so, what are the best options? Did these courses help you pass the exam? 

I wonder if it's necessary. I tend to like over-preparing for important events and I don't want to have to write the exam again while I'm articling.

I did not take a bar prep course and can’t think of anyone who did, so all I can comment on is your question of whether it’s necessary.

I’d assume that the vast majority of exam writers do not take a prep course.

Some people that use the term "bar exam prep course" mean that they watched some videos and did some independent study based on those videos. I'm going to do that as long as it doesn't cost anything (or if it's super cheap like 7sage was for the LSAT).

I have not heard of anyone actually doing an in-classroom structured course.

If you have some time between graduating 3L and the start of your articling, I would suggest not starting to study for the bar exam before you graduate 3L.

I'm doing one -- it's lasted three years, cost way too much and generally made my life a misery. I'll let you know if I pass!
