Discretionary rejected.  76% with drops, LSAT 164.  In my 40s.  Public service experience (non-Canadian though) of 2 decades.

Rejected (on April 25 apparently!). Not surprised as even as a discretionary, my stats aren't strong. LSAT 158 and GPA 78%.

Thought it was taking suspiciously long so I checked my application status today and it says "Unsuccessful". Curiously, I never received a formal rejection email, and have been checking my inbox and spam folder religiously since I have other applications I was waiting to hear from, too. I contacted the admissions office and they claim they sent me emails on the April 25th, but nothing on my end...

Has this happened to anyone else? Hoping to re-apply next year as UBC was my top choice, so I'm scared I will continue missing communications from them!

I'm aware of some people not receiving WL or R emails, despite their office saying that they were sent out. Offer emails, however, seem to not be affected; some people successfully were notified of their offer, despite not getting a WL email.
