I was very surprised and excited to receive an acceptance this past week.

157 LSAT, not completely sure what my cGPA was.

Good luck to those who are waiting!

Got selected from the WL pool yesterday.

LSAT 162

Wrote a LOCI to Osgoode after I received the wl email. Maybe that helped a bit. Good luck everyone

Accepted from the WL yesterday. 162/3.8(B2), 80% cGPA. Strong softs. Filled out Section B.

Very surprised to have been accepted off the WL/ so quickly (I moved to WL about a week earlier). Declined as I was accepted elsewhere.

Good luck everyone!

I was accepted in January. I didn't post originally, but I figured I should considering how much time I've spent on here.

Filled out part b and had decent softs

I didn’t write a LOCI (but I definitely was considering writing one)!

To an extent, yes. You aren't out of the running and people get acceptances/waitlist offers late in the game.

But unless you have some reason to believe the delay is justified, it is probably not a great sign.

Try not to dwell on it though, it is out of your hands. Also, people might still be fence sitting a little, there could be movement in the next month.

I just finished my fourth year and in my PS I mentioned that during my 2nd year some stuff happened and it tanked my gpa but otherwise my 1st, 3rd and 4th year GPA are all around a 3.8-3.9. I was hoping that they were waiting for my final marks to come in.. either way my cGPA is now a 3.41 it did bump up but not by too much. So would not be surprised to be rejected by them.

Is there any realistic chance of getting off the waitlist until July 1? I have an offer I have provisionally accepted, and am not sure if I should wait until it turns into firm on July 1, or if i should just accept firmly now, for peace of mind.

LOOL, right! On the one hand I want to see all my options. But on the other, I want the anxiety and stress to stop and just start having certainty.

I have provisional accepted a spot as well. I got into what, I think ,was my first choice.

Not firming up (though) until the bitter end (July 1st) just in case I got an offered (on the waitlist for others) at a closer-to-home school.

The expression 'a bird in the hand ... ' has been playing over and over in my mind ...

In my case I am 100% certain that I will be going with the sure thing.

It, for me, makes the most sense.

Going to law school and getting started this year is what matters to me!

Same with me. The school I am in is great, but Osgoode would be much closer to home. I would save a lot of money as well. So yeah tough call haha. Hope you get the best outcome as well!:)

I know it is a bit of a different circumstance, but in case others find it helpful, I was accepted to the Constitutional Law LLM yesterday.

Have a JD from USask and currently work as a lawyer in Saskatchewan.
